TELIN / ELECTRIC FLOOR HEATING

UTH-170R
Electric
Thermostat

A compact wall-mounted controller for practical electric floor-heating projects.

The TELIN UTH-170R is an electronic wall-mounted controller for electric floor-heating systems. It accepts universal 85–265 VAC input, supports up to 4 kW output through a single 18 A resistive-load circuit, and uses an NTC temperature sensor for room-temperature control. Its flame-retarding external case is designed for clear operation and practical installation across residential, hospitality, commercial and institutional applications.

The UTH-170R manual specifies universal 85–265 VAC input/output, one circuit, 18 A resistive-load capacity and a maximum 4 kW output. If the temperature sensor is disconnected, the controller can convert to timer mode; the optional overheating sensor can shut off output when the set limit is exceeded. Confirm the final load, wiring, protection and sensor configuration against the project electrical plan before installation.

INSTALLATION WORKFLOW

Keep the installation clear.

Plan the controller position, NTC sensor route and electrical protection before fixing the wall housing. The UTH-170R supports sensor mode and a timer mode that requires the temperature sensor to be disconnected. The product views can be used to review the front interface, rear housing and terminal access during project preparation.

  • 01 Confirm the wall position and room control height
  • 02 Route and protect the NTC temperature sensor
  • 03 Select sensor mode or timer mode according to the project design
  • 04 Connect the single electric-heating circuit and verify protection
  • 05 Test the display, SET/RUN lamps, setpoint and heating response
PRODUCT VIEWS
